About this worksheet

Decimal practice for upper elementary: adding and subtracting decimals, multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1,000, rounding and ordering decimals, adding money, making change and finding a percent of a number. Every sheet is new and comes with an answer key.

Tips for parents and teachers

  • Always line up the decimal points when adding or subtracting.
  • Multiplying by 10 moves every digit one place to the left; dividing moves them to the right.
  • Connect decimals to money: 0.25 is a quarter of a dollar.
  • For percents, find 10% first (divide by 10) and build other percents from it.
